Mr. Henry’s Jazz Boot Camp will be offered in-person this year!
Participants will learn to improvise in a variety of jazz styles (blues, swing, Latin, and more), to apply basic jazz theory for a more mature solo sound, and to work with other musicians in a collaborative setting.
2 sessions:
Monday - Friday
8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Participants will meet each day at Christensen Music in Glendale for rehearsal and instruction. Breaks will be provided.

10:00 a.m. - Master Class
11:00 a.m. - Combo Rehearsal
Open
to middle and high school students
who can read music!
The camp concludes with a live outdoor recital at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, July 30.

Participants will perform in front of a live audience, accompanied by a professional rhythm section!
COVID info: All Los Angeles County Health Department guidelines regarding COVID protocols will be followed for this year's boot camp and recital!
